Gears Of War commercial - (logo animation - HD - Inferno)

Company: Digital Domain

Took existing still frame logo and created animation and effects for the end of the commercial.

Stealth - (VFX Shot - Film - Nuke)

Company: Digital Domain

Created backplate for cockpit shot. The fly through plate had lights in the buildings turning off and on. I had to make all lights static for motion blur to look smooth which I accomplished using Flame.

Sunset Strip - (VFX Shot - Film – Inferno)

Company: Caliban

Green screen window shot. The director wanted a dirty window look, so I added grime to the window. I also added the background and the Whisky GOGO switch off.

Trailer for RATED X - (On-Line - SD - Flame)

Company: Yu+Co

I conformed the EDL, built composites with film sprocket jitter, matched time warps, composited the “there lives were controversial” type on leg and added color corrections and flashes throughout the trailer.

Title Work for “Wild Wild West” - (Film –Inferno)

Company: Imaginary Forces

I was on this title sequence with another Phil Mann as lead Inferno artists. Adding live action with credits and graphic animations of lines which I built some of. Created gun animation in one part. Garbage masking live action animations and transforming to fit into line animations and boxes. Loads of color corrections. This was completed in one week with 2 Infernos.

Nestle Lion Bar commercial - (VFX Shot - PAL - Inferno)

Composited hand and candy bar, lots of Sapphire glows and blurs used to create background. 

NBA - (VFX Shot - SD - Flame)

Composited graphic element over live action and added matte wipes, color corrections, time warps, and text.  

Title work for "The Rundown" - (Film - Inferno)

Composited graphic elements, provided by After Effects artists, into live action plates, multiple layers of graphics that needed to be lined up. Live action needed to match zoom and added color corrections.

Every cut on this title sequence was a VFX Shot in itself, 8-10 graphic elements went into every shot, It was a very tricky and time consuming gig. Trees and ocean background were shot motion control so I had to four point track her plate in.

American Express - (VFX Shot - SD - Flame)

Created and composited text animations and added legal’s.

Day After Tomorrow - (VFX Shot - Film –Inferno)

I was on this title sequence with another Phil Mann as lead Inferno artists. Adding live action Composited arm reaching in through back window, added flashes, reflections, shadows, and color corrected to match in.

Coors Light commercial - (VFX Shot - HD - Inferno)

Composited live action green screen plate of girl and news stand. Tracked in a still photo of building and added flare, blurs, and color corrections. 

GM Commercial - (VFX Shot - HD - Inferno)

Painted out crane that was lifting car into air, then comped in matte painting from another artist.  

Jak and Dax Commercial - (VFX Shot - SD - Nuke)

Company: Digital Domain

Composited 3D elements in Nuke. Added smoke in background and multiple blurs. All 3D provided was in separate passes including the environment, bodies, textures, fur, eyes (irises) and hair. All 3D elements had special spec and reflection passes.

As Good As It Gets - (VFX Shot - 4K Film - Inferno)

Removed green hurdle: Revealing the clean Backplate. Color Corrections. Stabilized 10 shots also on this film.

Double Team - (VFX Shot - Film – Inferno)

Explosion of miniature, I added green screen of actor jumping into pool, also added reflections and color corrected him to fit in.  (Look up tables built for Cineon images in and out).
